We currently produce four wines at Borghetto: two Chiantis and two IGTs.

The Chianti Classico Bilaccio and the Chianti Classico Riserva, are made entirely, or for the most part, from Sangiovese. We believe this indigenous Tuscan variety can stand alone and produce great wines without the need to blend with other varieties. The Riserva is made from 100% Sangiovese, sourced from our very best blocks, and is made in tiny quantities. It’s our intention that from 2005 onwards, the Chianti Classico Bilaccio will follow in the footsteps of the Riserva and be made entirely from Sangiovese.

Our two IGT wines focus on the ability of the vineyards to produce top-notch Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with a distinctive Tuscan character. The Collina 21 (our address here at Borghetto!) IGT Toscana is our entry level wine made form an harmonious blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The Rosie IGT Toscana is our Merlot/Cabernet equivalent of the Riserva. Made in tiny quantities, it represents the very best of our Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes
