We produce our Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil from twelve hectares of olive groves, cultivated with different species of Tuscan olive trees: Morellino, Frantoiano, Pendolino, Leccino e Madonna dell’Impruneta. The cultivation of olive trees alternates with the vineyards, on two hills facing east towards the Val di Pesa. A little paradise!
Il Borghetto Farm is certified ‘Organic’ and we are conducting a biodynamic experimentation.

Our extra virgin olive oil production
Il Borghetto produces Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil since 1990. The olive picking is done by hands.
We try to press the olives the same day of picking to preserve the organoleptic properties of the oil.
The freshly pressed oil has a brilliant yellow greenish color with a slightly pungent aroma
and an soft fragrance of artichoke.
We do two different Terroir of Extra Virgin Olive Oil: LA COLLINA and MONTE DE SASSI.

Make your own Extra Virgin Olive Oil
The olive picking in Tuscany is done from the end of October to the beginning of December. It’s during this period that we invite you to come for our Make your own Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil workshop. During these days we offer you the possibility to partecipate to the Olive Harvest from ‘the picking to the bottle’.
